  5. 1.I read about a boy called Aamar. He went down to the river close to the village to get his sick sister a drink of water. It was dark and cold and he was scared but he overcame it. He walked home and heard noises, he asked who is there and the people in the village replied. He made it home safely and he gave his sister the water.

2.I found it interesting how he liked wearing old tattered sandals that are hanging on by a thread.

3.It was challenging pronouncing some of the words especially when I didn't know what they meant.

4.I learnt that you dont have to be afraid of the dark, not everyone is bad or creepy. I can use this info in a persuasive letter or speech about bravery.

5.The dark is not always scary, be brave and courageous and help in anyway possible.

  15. Today I read about chocolate. first I read about dark chocolate that's bitter. then milk chocolate that is very sweet. finally I read about white chocolate. white chocolate is white because it contains no coco lumps put inside which brings out the white couler. white chocolate is normally creamy and sweet.

  18. With read theory we get the chance to read about anything, although we do not pick, most of the stories are engaging and full of information. There are all types of writing styles like, persuasive, information report, biography etc. I find it interesting learning about new people and going from not knowing them to knowing a lot about them. It's sometimes challenging when I don't understand what the author is speaking about like sometimes when i'm reading about something I've never associated with it is hard to get it. It is useful to know new things about people, places, animals and all sorts. Read theory also helps me with my vocabulary and knowing how to use the word. With knowing these new things I could add them into a story. A summary for what I read in three key words for me would be informational, random and specific.

  20. We use this website obviously for reading but you don't just read you have to answer questions. If you get a question right then you get giving points called KP (knowledge points) as you get more points you level up getting longer stories and harder questions. If you get to many questions wrong then you get shorter stories with easier questions. What I find interesting is how in some questions you get the option to highlight a text to help you the text is obviously highlighted so you don't have to go through the WHOLE thing just to answer ONE question. What I find challenging is how you have to read through it then answer when you don't have the option to highlight the text. I don't really gather information that much because the stories I get are mostly about someones life but that is kind of gathering information about that person. I don't really know how to Summarise what I read about.

  21. I read a lot of articles, but my favourite was a toilet paper article. I found out about the history of toilet paper. For example I found out it was believed to have first been used in China.I struggled with retaining some of the knowledge I read from the article. It's good to know to history of the toilet paper because it's used on a daily bassist.I also read about chess which is helpful because now I know a a few rules and phrases.
